Professional Training Course: Structure
Course Structure
The course comprises 27 training days organised in eleven weekend workshops spread over ten months. The courses are held either in Bristol or Worcester, apart from the middle weekend which takes place at a residential centre.
During the workshops, students work with one another. Most of the massage work will use oils and be on a table although other treatment possibilities, such as through clothing or in a chair, will also be explored.
Assignments and Examinations
Students will be required to keep a diary of 50 hours of massage practice (including 10 hours received) throughout the course. This will include the study of a client group specified by the student. There will also be a journal of personal reflections, including notes on homework exercises.
