Indian Head Massage for Massage Practitioners by Gill Ayshford

This one day Indian Head Massage (IHM) workshop is designed for qualified bodyworkers to explore the traditional approach of IHM and find ways to incorporate it into their massage.

Based on the Ayurvedic system of healing, the aim of IHM is to release the stress that has accumulated in the tissues, muscles and joints of the head, face, neck and shoulders.

We will work with both massage and chakra balancing techniques. You will have the opportunity to learn safe and effective skills to help deal with common ailments including:

• Tension headaches
• Muscular strains
• Sinus congestion
• Eye strain
• Relief of stress and tension
